A Small Introduction

Well, I have entered the world of blogging. It's about time I suppose. Recently there have been many changes in my life, and in an effort to keep everyone updated, I have decided to start this blog. To bring everyone up to speed, here is what has been going on with me in the last year. Beware, it's really boring.
In August of 2008 (yes that was more than a year ago), I got sick. Really, really sick. I had recently returned home from a trip to Canada, and I was sure that I had picked something up on the trip, and would soon be fine. Not so. As the months and medical tests and procedures dragged on, I began to lose hope, and separate myself from everyone. Not because I didn't want to see people, but because when you are sick every day, it wears on you. It took all I had to get through work every week, and I then spent my entire weekend bedridden trying to recover enough to go back to work the next week. It wasn't as though I wanted to lose touch with everyone, it seemed to just happen. In that year I went through a lot of tests, and I will probably blog those experiences every once in a while, because as my dear friend said, they can only be described as a "comedy of horrors". And we can't have that much funny all in one post.
Back to where I am now...
This summer I decided that I didn't love what I was doing anymore, and that I was old enough to finally figure out what it was that I DID want to do for the rest of my life. Holy crap, big decision. Are we sure I'm old enough for this?? Needless to say, after weeks of soul searching, I decided that what I really loved was traveling. There is a lot of world out there, and I want to see it. And I don't mean a week at a time during my annual vacation. This meant that I had to work from home, or more specifically, my computer. Ok. What are the options for working from home? More research and soul searching. I decided to go with marketing and sales. Hmm...way to pick something I've never done. Well, if you're going to go, go big. And hopefully be a little bit smart. More research, and I found an online school in CA that teaches the many different ways to market on the internet. I got signed up, and within days a brand-new marketing and sales company basically dropped into my lap. I'm going to go ahead and take that as a sign from above, and run with this as fast as I can go...
I signed up to be an independent marketer with the Trump Network, took a leave of absence from work, and jumped. It has been 2 1/2 weeks, and it has been a major roller coaster. It the coming posts I will let you know all the fantastic that has happened in those few weeks. Welcome to my ride, and my path.
